4. Backup Storage Location

Backups are stored securely with encryption on protected servers. Offsite backups are stored in isolated, secure environments.

5. Backup Retention

• Daily backups retained for 1–4 days
• Weekly backups retained for up to 4 days

6. Restore Policy

• Clients may request backup restoration anytime
• Restores are usually completed within 24 hours
• A restore fee may apply depending on hosting plan

7. Client Responsibilities

• Maintain separate personal backups
• Use external backup systems for large websites
• Take manual backup before any CMS/plugin/theme update

8. Backup Limitations

HostemeBD does not guarantee backup recovery in cases such as:

• Client manually deletes files
• Malware or virus infection
• Backup storage exceeded
• Corrupted files due to faulty scripts

9. Emergency Backup

In situations like server crash or hardware failure, offsite backups may be used.

10. Third-Party Issues

HostemeBD is not responsible for data loss caused by third-party apps, plugins, themes, or APIs.

11. Crack / Nulled / Pirated Script Liability

If a client uses cracked, nulled, pirated, or unverified scripts or plugins, HostemeBD is not responsible for:

• Server damage
• Database corruption
• Website hacking
• Malware or virus infection
• Backup file corruption
• Total data loss
• Website downtime

This is entirely the client’s own responsibility.
